Rootstock Arts presents a captivating evening of cross-cultural musical dialogue with "Rubab Meets Sarod" on August 15th, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM . Hosted at the intimate Rootstock Arts Center (5741 Telegraph Ave, Oakland, CA), this performance brings together the rich, soulful string traditions of Afghan and Indian classical music. The concert highlights the shared heritage and unique voices of two deeply expressive lutes: the Afghan Rubab and the Indian Sarod.
