Rhythmic vitality and playful melodies will invite you to tap your toes, lean in, and feel the beat. Marcus Roberts Trio joins New Century to bring fresh life to the music of Gerswhin and Ellington with striking cohesion. Music from two of today’s leading women composers serves as interludes, each bringing their own unique sense of curiosity, reflection, and contrast.
