Sayyid M.Sayyid (born Maurice Mboya Greene July 10 1970) is a lyricist, producer, visual artist and a founding member of The New York based Alternative hip hop group Antipop Consortium. In 2017 he was the subject of a feature article in Noisey Magazine covering his move to Paris and his mixtape Error Tape 1. In 2018 the French music television series Tracks ARTE covered the artist in a mini-documentary highlighting his work. Later that year he was invited by Sónar to perform at Sónar by Day. He has appeared in a “how-to” for Billboard (magazine) in 2009 where he was applauded for his use of the MPC 2000XL and plays the role of professor in a 2 part series called Fire in the MP.
