Tuã is a Black pediatric oncologist, born in Bahia but raised in Italy, where his mother fled after being imprisoned and tortured during the dictatorship, while her husband became one of the many disappeared of the regime. Years later, Tuã returns to Brazil on a journey of reconciliation with his roots. Amid silenced memories and broken ties, the film reflects on life and death, love and loss.
