 a journey. From tender ballads to raucous political anthems\, the performa
 nce moves between the personal and the political and sometimes both at the
  same time. The rich resonance of Andrea's voice carries the message of he
 r original lyrics on a versatile instrumental foundation provided by Debor
 ah Hungerford on piano and keyboards\, Mike Derrick on guitar\, and Alexis
  Tsamoudakis on bass. The genre defying tunes range from blues\, folk\, ro
 ck and even jazz at times. While Andrea's influences include singer-songwr
 iters (Patti Griffin\, Tracy Chapman\, Joni Mitchell\, James Taylor\,etc) 
 she also loves to dance and the R&B\, Motown sound is also woven into the 
 mix. Formerly of the Berkeley based\, nationally-known feminist folk trio 
 "Rebecca Riots"\, Andrea has released several albums. In recent times\, An
 drea released a solo album "The Frame" and continues to write and sing abo
 ut the issues of the day. A natural storyteller and political activist\, A
 ndrea combines anecdotes with her carefully crafted songs to inspire and u
 plift her audiences. Her fans describe the experience of going to her show
