This community gathering and celebration of holiday cheer includes interfaith and nondemoninational holiday carols, comedic moments, and personal stories from the stage. Guests of all ages have chances to sing, get on stage, and interact with Zoë and Janice. Our singlaongs welcome singers, dancers, and music lovers of all ages – bring the whole family! About Zoë Ellis Zoe Ellis has been singing all her life. Starting in elementary school with light opera, she moved on to gospel, R & B, soul, hip-hop, and house music. She added a capella improvisation to her repertoire when she joined SoVoSo and Keith Terry’s Slammin All-Body Band. Alongside her brother, jazz saxophonist Dave Ellis, she leads Zadell (Zoe and Dave Ellis), which showcases her original compositions, highlighting both the power and emotion of her voice, and its softer, soul-stirring side. Together they recorded Zoe Ellis: Live at Anna's Jazz Island. She is currently co-lead vocalist for Darryl Anders’s AgapéSoul and holds a chair with Linda Tillery’s Cultural Heritage Choir. Along with Bryan Dyer, she is also the founding leader of the Freight Singers Community Chorus, working year-round with 75+ members weekly. About Janice Maxie Reid One of her students played keyboards for Beyoncé and Stevie Wonder. Another is a Grammy winner with twelve nominations. A third directed Black Panther. Janice Maxie Reid taught all three of them—and most nights, the audienc
