Presented by Opera Parallèle at Z Space, this operatic world premiere draws inspiration from the enduring musical traditions and nineteenth-century spirituals of the Gullah-Geechee people. Co-created by Victor Ryan Robertson and Brian Staufenbiel, the theatrical experience blends classical, jazz, and spoken word to celebrate cultural resilience and memory.
Brian wants you to go out and hear live events more often.
He’s built a free tool for you to use.
