 f Bollywood Blues Aki Kumar on October 10th for a 75 minute Intermediate H
 armonica workshop. This intermediate workshop is best suited for diatonic 
 harmonica players who can comfortably play single notes on the instrument 
 and have some experience playing music on it. Topics will include note ben
 ding\, vibratto and tongue blocking\, with a focus on simple exercises to 
 help build technique. Harmonica players are expected to bring a key of "C"
  10-hole diatonic harmonica (Richter tuning). About Aki Kumar Aki Kumar le
 ft his native home in Mumbai\, India for the United States with the intent
 ion of working as a software engineer. Then he discovered the sounds of th
 e blues\, and his life changed dramatically. A masterful harmonica player\
 , soulful vocalist\, band-leader\, drummer and producer\, Kumar is a man o
 f many talents and one of the most prolific artists in the SF Bay Area tod
 ay. He has successfully blended retro Indian music into his presentation\,
  making for a unique\, electrifying\, multi-cultural mash-up that sounds l
 ike no one else\, yet never loses touch with the inspiration it draws from
  the blues. A veteran of the San Jose music scene for two decades\, Kumar 
 was hailed as "...King of ‘Bollywood blues’ music" by SJ Mercury News 
 (2022) and received the Metro Silicon Valley Gold Award for Best Band (202
