 ed sound and field recordings to encode memory and place. Elif Dinçer and
  Zac Burgenbauch are a duo from LosAngeles who make Creative Music explori
 ng the outer reaches of the harp and lap steel guitar. Drawing upon the tr
 aditions of free jazz\, contemporary classical composition\, free improvis
 ation\, and American folk music\, Elif and Zac utilize a shared language a
 nd repertoire they have developed over years involving graphic scores\, pr
 eparations\, alternative tunings\, open compositional structures\, and rei
