  her soulful sound to the Garden Stage with a powerful live performance. B
 lending smooth R&B\, heartfelt storytelling\, and uplifting messages of re
 silience\, faith\, and self-discovery\, the East Oakland artist delivers a
 n intimate yet energetic set that invites audiences to sing along\, reflec
 t\, and leave inspired. \n\nKeeping the music going\, DJ Moteef takes over
  the Amphitheater with an eclectic and soul-nourishing mix of R&B\, House\
 , Funk\, Afrobeats\, Hip Hop\, and reimagined classics that both move the 
 body and stir the spirit. Bay Area-raised and based\, DJ Moteef’s sets c
 elebrate a global soundscape with nostalgic selections and are grounded in
  community\, culture\, and connection. \n\nFamilies can also gather in the
  Garden for Drag Storytime with Per Sia\, San Francisco’s Drag Laureate\
 , featuring a reading of Hazel’s Best Day: A Story of Community\, Access
 ibility\, and Pride in Being Yourself. Guests of all ages are also invited
  to make their own mini home inspired by Mildred Howard’s house sculptur
 es\, using colorful materials to create a tiny home that tells their story
 . \n\nGuests can also join artists Mildred Howard and Adrian Burrell for a
  special conversation presented in partnership with MoAD Nexus Black Art W
 eek\, moderated by OMCA’s  Senior Director of Marketing\, Communication
 s\, and Visitor Experience\, Autumn King.  \n\nAlongside an exceptional e
 vent experience\, Friday Nights at OMCA also features Gallery Chats from 5
 :30–7:30 pm. Putting a twist on the traditional museum tour\, Gallery Ch
 ats invite visitors to engage in meaningful conversations\, share personal
  reflections\, and explore new perspectives on the artwork\, artifacts\, a
 nd stories throughout OMCA’s galleries. Enthusiastic volunteer facilitat
 ors can be found floating between all of OMCA’s galleries\, including it
 s Great Hall Special Exhibitions\, throughout the evening. Look for the bl
 ue “Let’s Chat” shirts to join the conversation. Gallery Chats are i

 ill continue to welcome visitors during regular Museum hours\, with plenty
  to explore—including our latest special exhibition\, BeHere/1942: A New
  Lens on Japanese Incarceration\, and featured experiences like OMCA’s 3

 sound selector whose love for music was shaped by her Nigerian upbringing
