Curated by multi-instrumentalist/producer, Jackeline Rago, Venezuela Vibra y Renace supports Venezuelan musicians and artists deeply affected by the recent earthquakes and the ongoing challenges in their communities. As the country gradually resumes its economic activity, musical events, celebrations, and cultural activities are still largely on pause. Many musicians have lost the ability to work and face extremely difficult circumstances. Some have lost their homes and belongings in the earthquakes, while others have been evicted following formal inspections by local authorities. The goal of Venezuela Vibra y Renace is to raise funds to support musicians who are struggling to survive while using music and dance as tools for community connection and recovery. The funds will help cover essential expenses for the participating artists—including transportation, food, and a basic honorarium—so they can bring live music and dance to some of the communities most affected.
