 Lincoln Center and the Kennedy Center. She was a\n    semi-finalist in the
  1992 Thelonious Monk International Drum Competition and\n    received jaz
 z performance grants from the National Endowment for the Arts in\n    1988
  and 1991.\n\nSaxophonist Rico Jones\n    and trumpet player Wallace Roney
  Jr. are leading artists of their younger\n    generation\, pushing musica
 l boundaries while remaining grounded in traditional\n    jazz roots. Pian
 ist Matt Clark\, bassist Essiet Okon Essiet\, and drummer Cuenca bring\n  
   decades of experience shaped by years on the road with jazz icons.\n\nSy
