shadesofblue.net · details SHADES OF BLUE pays homage to Johnson and The Delta in their Rockin’ Revue, featuring tributes to many of the greatest blues artists and their best-known songs. Many have become “Blues Standards.” Expect to hear mashups of songs like Johnson’s version of “CROSSROADS” and the decidedly more rock version from CREAM. Hear a heart-felt medley of the “Three Kings” (BB, ALBERT & FREDDIE) and their respective “hits,” “THE THRILL IS GONE,” “BORN UNDER A BAD SIGN” and “GOIN’ DOWN.”
